Purebrand succeeds in mission to promote Martek

Martek Marine, a leading manufacturer of safety and environmental monitoring systems to the Marine Industry, has appointed Purebrand to develop a series of integrated product marketing campaigns, following a creative pitch process.

Purebrand’s campaign for Lifeforce®, a life-saving defibrillator for marine use, promotes the product’s benefits from the perspective of a child whose father’s live was saved at sea because the ship had Lifeforce® on board. Child-like drawings form the basis of the direct mail and trade-press advertising, which Purebrand is also developing into an animation to create an online video viral campaign.

‘E-Missions Impossible’ is the theme for Purebrand’s two-stage direct mail, advertising and online campaign to promote Martek’s innovative engine emissions monitoring system, MariNOx™. Designed to help shipping companies to closely monitor their emissions, and therefore meet strict environmental legislation, MariNOx™ has already proven to be a major success story for Martek, which already supplies the unit to around 98% of the world market.
