Purebrand forges partnership to deliver Yorkshire business expo

Following a successful joint tender submission, Purebrand and Leeds PR agency Waterside Communications have secured a 3 year contract to deliver BarnsleyWorks, an annual event to promote business in Barnsley and the Yorkshire region.

Planning is already well underway for BarnsleyWorks 2009, which will take place at the Barnsley Metrodome on 23rd April, and is expected to attract more than 80 exhibitors and over 1,000 delegates.

Purebrand and Waterside are keen to ensure that the event lives up to its billing as a key date in the diary for the local business community and that it is of maximum value for both exhibitors and delegates alike. The focus will be very much on how to survive the current economic downturn and a range of useful seminars and mini-workshops have been developed to help businesses generate profitable new business opportunities; ‘Quick Biz Dates’ – is a speed-dating session that will give companies the opportunity to introduce themselves to decision makers from more than 40 other regional businesses, ‘Meet the Buyer’ will provide essential tips and advice about winning public sector contracts, and Carl Hopkins, self-styled marketing guru recently featured on Channel 4’s ‘The Secret Millionaire’, has been signed up as a keynote speaker.

To promote the event throughout the region, Purebrand has created an integrated marketing campaign comprising press advertising, direct mail, a dedicated website and email marketing activity.
