New appointment is the full package

To drive the agency’s expansion into the retail sector, Matthew Buckley has joined Purebrand as Consumer Marketing Manager.

Matthew brings more than 12 years of experience within retail marketing, particularly within the areas of packaging and P.O.S., in a career that includes over a decade working client-side with a major supplier to both high street retailers and major multiples in the DIY sector.

Whilst in this role Matthew forged a close working relationship with Purebrand that included collaborations on projects for retailers such as B&Q, FOCUS and Debenhams. So, with his extensive knowledge and experience of the sector, Matthew was the ideal choice to develop Purebrand’s retail client base.

However times are changing and I firmly believe that with the broad range of experience we have at Purebrand and the talented creative team we have developed in recent years, we can offer effective solutions with added value to help marketing budgets stretch a little further in this economic climate, which is affecting the retail sector more than most.

Matthew’s knowledge of retail packaging and POS is second to none and I’m sure he will be key to growing our business and developing a multi-disciplined service specifically for the retail sector. Our creative design will be enhanced and supported by strategic thinking and research into customer behaviour.”

Commenting on his new role, Matthew says; “Having known Purebrand for several years, it was an easy decision to join them when the opportunity came up. Having spent 12 years managing packaging design and marketing projects, I believe this is an exciting opportunity to merge the experience of a highly rated, tried and trusted creative company with the experience I have gained within the retail sector.”
