Leeds City Council
The first chapter of our long and successful relationship with Leeds City Council began with a brief to create a new brand image for Leeds’ libraries. From this ‘Accesspoint’ was born and rolled-out to encompass all of the City’s 56 local libraries, giving them a fresh new look, supported by a city-wide marketing campaign, to spread the word about the exciting changes that were also taking place inside.
The story had a very happy ending and, in true best-seller style, within a year library membership had increased by an incredible 15%, Leeds City Council was awarded ‘Beacon Status’ for its libraries by Central Government and the campaign picked up Publicity Award in the category of Best Printed Publicity Material.
But that wasn’t the end of our relationship with Leeds City Council. Because of our unique understanding of the brand and the success it achieved, over 4 years after its original launch we were very pleased when recently commissioned to reinvigorate our original design and launch the next stage in
Accesspoint’s development.
